In his own words, Marco Machera is “a translator by day, a musician by night — or viceversa”.

Marco translates books from English to Italian. He has worked on contemporary writers as well as classic literature. He likes to work on music memoirs and essays. Sometimes he ventures into video game localisation. You can also connect with Marco on LinkedIn.

He has been playing music all of his life. Marco writes atmospheric, introspective pop songs. His music work includes collaborations, recordings and live shows with a number of acclaimed international artists, including Julie Slick (with whom he co-founded the band Echotest), Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Teho Teardo, Chrysta Bell, Steve Jansen — just to name a few. Throughout the years, Marco has opened shows for Marillion, Stick Men, Adrian Belew, O.R.k. and more.
