In his own words, Marco Machera is “a translator by day, a musician by night — or viceversa”.

Marco translates books from English to Italian, working across both contemporary and classic literature. He also occasionally ventures into video game localization.
A lifelong musician, Marco writes atmospheric, introspective pop songs. His musical career includes collaborations, recordings, and live performances with acclaimed international artists such as Julie Slick (with whom he co-founded the band Echotest), Tony Levin, Pat Mastelotto, Teho Teardo, Chrysta Bell, and Steve Jansen. Over the years, he has also opened for the likes of Marillion, Stick Men, Adrian Belew, and O.R.k.
